Hello,
I'M
KISHORE ESWARAN.
K
Welcome to my blog,
I am an Electrical Engineer with a Master's degree from the University of Colorado - Boulder, specializing in Power Electronics.
I have had the opportunity to work on exciting projects over the last five years. Scroll down to get to know me better.

04 Experience
Jun 2023
Lenovo
DC-DC Power Development Engineer
-
Developing Point of Load buck regulators (VR) ranging from 0.1 W – 2.8 kW for ThinkSystem servers.
-
Performing the DC/DC regulator testing to ensure proper functionality and reliability.
-
Simulating signal integrity software to optimize VR placement and routing, resulting in higher efficiency and cost savings.
May 2022 - May 2023
Rockwell Automation
Power Intern, Hardware Development
-
Working on designing, analyzing, and simulating power electronics hardware circuits and systems used in AC motor drives and testing them in a development laboratory using specialized instrumentation. Gained experience with troubleshooting printed circuit boards, soldering techniques, and safety practices in a high-voltage laboratory which gave me good exposure to Rockwell Automation's product development processes and cross-functional teams.
-
Constructing an active clamp flyback converter to power up the gate boards, control circuits, fans, etc., on the AC drives.
-
Conducting Double pulse testing (DPT) to evaluate the performance of SiC MOSFET on 200 HP Power Flex Drive’s board.
-
Characterizing the Gate driver circuit for SiC MOSFETs based on the DPT results.
-
Handling high-voltage and high-power electronics testing on the 500 HP motor drive system.
Feb 2020 - Aug 2021
KPIT Technologies
Automotive Engineer
-
Programmed a Python-based automation tool to track bugs and issues in Redmine API
-
Parsed the Redmine CSV files, produced the desired metric data, and did Python Redmine API debugging.
-
Built server-client applications for Cummins and Honda using adaptive AUTOSAR standards ( Developed in C++ and tested on Linux Virtualizer ).
Oct 2019 - Jan 2020
AproposDrive Technologies
Power Electronics Intern
-
Developed Embedded C code for interfacing Torque sensor with LCD module.
-
Controlled by DSpic33 in MPLAB IDE using an I2C communication protocol.
-
Assisted testing motor control drive converter for PMSM / BLDC.
-
Familiarized with working with Surface Mount Technology (PCB design, soldering, and testing of Surface Mount Devices).
